Solitaire's exclusive grid-work floor is constructed of solid plywood decking which covers 2" x 3"s running the width and length of the floor. Then, it's glued and nailed to 2" x 6" floor joists. This solid, durable floor creates an 8" floor framing with duct and plumbing basement. Strength and stability means the strongest exterior and side walls in our industry -- 2" x 6" walls joined to their floor with the strongest methods possible to assure you of a solid home built to last.

Homeowners know that the true value of a home is how it holds up to the elements of weather and the daily wear and tear of family living. That's why Solitaire won't cut corners on craftsmanship. Our exclusive grid-work ceiling uses 1" x 3"s running its length and width, glued and nailed to heavy-duty 2" x 3" truss-type rafters. All roofs are actual R-30 insulation (multi-section feature) with residential grade insulation blown in and around truss members, wiring and electrical boxes to create a superior energy efficiency rating.
